I am not gay – Charly Boy clears the air amid Bobrisky’s arrest

Popular artist and media celebrity Charles Oputa, also referred to as Charly Boy, has recently come out about his sexuality. The veteran actor revealed that, despite his potential sexuality, he is not gay during a chat with Big Brother Naija star Uriel Oputa. Charly Boy said that he had a feminine side that he calls Linda, but he made it clear that he would have supported the fight for gay rights in Nigeria if he had been gay. After Bobrisky, a controversial crossdresser and claimed transgender person, was supposedly arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, the "Area Fada" made the statement. "I have a feminine side that I call Linda," Charly Boy said. Additionally, I recall having a role that I played consistently on the Charly Boy show, Miss Zigizigi. That's what I learned when I was in America. I mean, I have my feminine ways, and if you don't truly know who I am, sometimes I may be confusing. Many declared that they are gay. "I might be, but I'm not." Since I would be advocating for gay rights and carrying my placards about if I were homosexual.
